Our Rotary Club Wappen EinbeckEinbeck-NortheimWappen Northeimwas founded 1968 by our neighbor club Goettingen and chartered 1969. The members of the Rotary Club Einbeck-Northeim live in Germany's geographic center in the southern Lower Saxony region south of Hanover and north of Goettingen above all in the cities of Einbeck and Northeim in Northeim county. Our Rotarians represent a wide variety of professions and occupations. They are bound up with each other in daily life and call each other friends. They meet once every week (see Meeting Times!) to have a meal together, listen to a brief talk on topics of current interest given by members or guests followed by a discussion. Several meetings and excursions are open to spouses and Non-Rotarian guests. Our Club is engaged in international student exchange, support of mentally and physically handicapped, and support of preservation of historic buildings and monuments. Our club has special links to the Rotary Club of Vriezenveen in the Netherlands.
